Privacy Policy
Last updated October 17, 2026
The short version: there are no accounts, your wallet activity is public on Solana by design, coin content you publish is public and permanent, and we don’t track you across the web or sell data.
01Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Lock It (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use the Lock It website at lockit.fun and its related interfaces and APIs (the “Interface”). We act as the controller of the data described here. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
02Data we process
We do not ask for your name, email address or any account details. We process only the following:
- Public blockchain data. When you connect a wallet, the Interface reads your public wallet address and displays your balances, trades, claimable fees and redemptions. This information, and every transaction you sign, is public on the Solana blockchain by design. Our indexer reads and stores public on-chain activity (coins, trades, holders) to power charts, lists and statistics.
- Content you publish. When you create a coin, the name, ticker, description, image and social links you provide, together with your wallet address as creator, are uploaded and published publicly (on our servers, on public storage networks such as IPFS or Arweave, and in on-chain metadata).
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting and API servers receive your IP address, browser user agent, requested pages and timestamps. We use them to deliver the Interface, prevent abuse (for example rate limiting) and keep it secure.
- Data stored in your browser. Your preferences (such as slippage and whether the demo wallet is connected) are kept in your browser’s local storage, and the history of demo-mode actions in session storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
03Wallets
Wallets (such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack) are third-party software with their own privacy policies. When you connect one, we only receive your public address and the transactions you choose to sign. We never see or store your private keys or seed phrase.
04Why we use data (legal bases)
- Providing the Interface — showing coins, prices and your positions, building transactions and publishing coins you create (performance of our agreement with you under the Terms).
- Security and abuse prevention — protecting the Interface, detecting attacks, moderating uploaded content and enforcing the Terms (our legitimate interests).
- Legal obligations — complying with sanctions rules, law-enforcement requests and reporting obligations, including reporting illegal content.
06How long we keep data
- Server and security logs are kept for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) unless needed longer to investigate abuse.
- Indexed public blockchain data and published coin content are kept for as long as the Interface operates.
- Data published on the blockchain or on permanent storage networks cannot be modified or deleted by anyone, including us.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, write to privacy@lockit.fun. We can hide content from the Interface and delete data we hold on our servers, but we cannot alter or erase data recorded on the blockchain or on permanent public storage.
08Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we process. No system is completely secure; keep your wallet and devices safe and never share your seed phrase.
09Children
The Interface is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly process data of minors.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version; material changes will be highlighted on the Interface.
